Mary Poppins in Chicago - by Dana

We enjoy taking our family to Chicago to see plays. There are a few hurdles 1) they are expensive for a family of five and 2) often the content is not family friendly. We were excited when we heard that Mary Poppins was coming to Chicago and we planned in advance. We secured tickets early on and they were part of our Christmas gift giving. We anxiously awaited our March viewing of the play.

We really enjoyed the performance. The singing and dancing were phenomenal. In particular we were all amazed at the dance associated with the song "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious". They did arm motions for the lettering... and they did it fast.

We were with our family, the weather was great and the show was enjoyable. You might say the day was "practically perfect".
